Fare Freight quotes your own carrier accounts at checkout for furniture, gym equipment, spas, generators — anything that was never going to fit in a satchel. Then books it, labels it and manifests it from one screen.
The Fare Freight screen inside Shopify admin — real orders, real rates, not a mockup.

A flat rate has to cover your worst case, so everyone pays for the hardest delivery on your books. Fare Freight quotes each order properly and offers the choices a freight customer actually wants.

An example quote for one 93.7 kg item. Three real options, priced before the customer commits.
Six items, one carton, one rate — with the layout it used to get there.
Most apps rate each line separately, so a customer buying six things gets quoted six deliveries and leaves. Smart Packing works out which of your boxes the order actually fits in, stacks it properly, and quotes the carton that comes out.
Dimensions, weight and packaging live per SKU — and per carton, for products that genuinely ship in more than one. If you already keep dimensions in metafields, it reads them from there.
Your saved packages, with tare and maximum weight on each.
Conditions decide which rates a customer is offered.
Rates are yours to shape. Hide an option for postcodes you can’t service, add a handling charge where you need one, rename anything, and decide what a customer is offered before they ever see it.
“We run a business specializing in heavy goods, and integrating Fare Freight with my Shopify store has been a game-changer. Unlike other apps, Fare Freight excels in handling heavy items. The setup was quick and easy, and the cost savings on shipping bulky products are remarkable.”
Aussie Offroad 4×4
“Our products are an odd shape and Fare Freight allowed us to enter in the dimensions and package type to give our customers accurate and live shipping rates. The app is easy to use and has many options to make the shipping tailored to what you need.”
Fabwitz Industries
“It is a great tool for sending all palleted goods. It connects with Shopify well, provides a large amount of shipping options to our customers and their customer service is really supportive. They will help you with the set up and advice on configuration if needed.”
AME System
You connect your own carrier and broker accounts on one screen and keep the rates you’ve already negotiated. Nothing to renegotiate, nothing to move.
Stores currently run it with National Freight Management, MachShip, KIS, Allied Express, Direct Freight, BigPost and Australia Post, among others. If yours isn’t on the list yet, we add carriers on request — that’s a normal part of onboarding, not a special case.
1:1 setup with a real person
We configure it with you. Reviews call it quick and easy.
Labels, connotes and manifests
Saved back to your Shopify files, against the order.
Quotes without an order
Price a phone or email enquiry on the spot.
Bulk quote, ship and manifest
Clear a day’s orders from one screen.
For live carrier rates, yes — and that’s the point. You keep your negotiated pricing and we don’t take a cut of your freight. If you don’t have an account yet, we can point you at the brokers other stores here use.
Tell us and we’ll look at adding it. New carrier connections are a routine part of onboarding rather than a special project, and the list has grown that way.
Rates are returned through Shopify’s carrier service, so they appear wherever your checkout shows shipping. There’s nothing to rebuild in your theme.
It’s the part we help with. Dimensions can be imported, read from existing metafields, or set per SKU — and every plan includes a setup session with us, not a link to a help doc.
Reverse logistics is handled in the app too, including collection from the customer’s address. Ask us about it on the demo — it’s the part most stores don’t expect.
14-day free trial on the Shopify App Store, and a 1:1 setup session with us either way.
