Getting Started with Fare Freight: A Quick Setup Guide
Getting your e-commerce store connected to Fare Freight takes just a few simple steps. This guide will walk you through the setup process so you can start comparing rates and booking shipments in no time.
Step 1: Connect Your Store
Fare Freight integrates seamlessly with major e-commerce platforms including Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento. Simply navigate to the integrations section in your Fare Freight dashboard, select your platform, and follow the authorisation prompts. Your products and orders will sync automatically once connected.
Step 2: Set Up Carrier Integrations
Add your preferred carriers to access their rates directly through Fare Freight. We support a wide range of Australian carriers and freight brokers. Enter your account credentials for each carrier, and you will immediately gain access to their live rates and booking capabilities.
Step 3: Configure Shipping Rules
Customise how shipping costs are calculated for your customers. Set up rules based on product categories, weight ranges, delivery zones, or specific SKUs. You can apply fixed rates, percentage markups, or let Fare Freight pass through the live carrier rates directly to your checkout.
Step 4: Book Your First Shipment
Once an order comes through, head to the Orders section in Fare Freight. Select the order, compare available rates from your connected carriers, and book with a single click. Your shipping label will be generated instantly, ready to print and attach to your package.
