To set up product dimensions and package types for products in the Fare Freight app to ensure accurate shipping calculations and packaging information.
Key Steps #
- Navigate to the “Product” tab in the Fare Freight app.
- Review all products and variants queued in Shopify, automatically synced into the app.
- If no dimensions are set by default, a warning message will appear indicating missing dimensions and package type.
- Manually edit each product by adding the dimension and package type (e.g., pallet, carton).
- For efficient first-time setup, export all products to Excel.
- Add dimensions and package types in Excel.
- Re-import the updated Excel sheet back into the Fare Freight app.
